Christmas Present to RCMP – “Warrantless Access”

Dec 1, 2015 | Latest News

I’m all for warrantless access ton subscriber information,” RCMP Commissioner Bob Paulson said during a talk at the Securetech 2015 security conference in Ottawa on Wednesday. “That’s what I want for Christmas.”
Speaking at a convention and tradeshow yesterday, Paulson revealed what he wanted for Christmas – warrantless access to Canadian’s Internet subscriber information.
The Supreme Court of Canada, in June last year, ruled that police must secure authorization from a judge in order to obtain from Internet service providers customer data linked to online activities.”
We think that makes more sense, too much power.

I forgot to say in my previous email that when I was discussing this with Kendra a couple of days ago she said that yours was by far the best firm she had ever worked with on websites and that your staff were so good.

To be honest, when (it was) suggested that we design a web page, I was less than enthusiastic. But thoroughly enjoyed the process — it was very easy working with you. I can’t believe how quickly everything came together. And the result is fantastic. Thanks.
